This year, the „cuarto de juegos“ project was resumed in a refreshed form. The playroom is designed to playfully support the children in a small setting.

In small groups of two to five children, social skills such as fairness, respect, helpfulness and consideration, as well as self-competences such as dealing with frustration (to lose), patience and self-confidence are to be practised. These principles of coexistence are implemented and reflected by establishing clear rules. On the other hand, a cognitive support is to be ensured by skillfully choosing and realising the games.

Like every Christmas, this should be a special experience for the children of the Fundacíon. The Christmas celebration program was already in place, preparations were in full progress when we got informed, that the annual donor for the children’s gifts had jumped off. Since the Foundation’s financial resources have been used up, it looked like the children would not receive a Christmas gift this year.

Last  year was affected by expansions: First, the holiday program and the day-care center für the youngest has been broadened so that more children and teenager can now profit. And second the construction of the second building has been started. It is planned to use it for the foundation in the middle of 2017.
